Signs

There are signs everywhere. Trees, shop shutters, lamp posts, hoardings, bus stops, walls, meter boxes, pillars, buses, trains, taxis, windscreens, hanging between buildings and out of balconies. Is it the same primeval instinct that makes men write graffiti on every surface within reach and opportunity?
